I'm not a political scientist, yet I find it completely absurd to present Marxism as a religious doctrine (at best as an obsolete political theory) and all that based on the Communist Manifesto and not The Capital. The Communist Manifesto is what the title says: a manifesto. It is definitely not a text through which you can present and analyse Marxism and Historical Materialism. In this chapter the author is biased.
