I'm so curious to hear what you think of this. I want to read it but I worry it would be too much since I'm not crazy about hardcore horror

Yeah it’s fairly disturbing in like the best way. I’m in my body horror era rn. Starving saints is my next read. I’d say it’s on the same level of like “blood” as the movie midsummer (my fave horror movie ever)
Ok good to know! Body horror is the kind of horror I enjoy so I will consider trying it! I've heard such good things about starving saints, I hope you enjoy it!

Yeah pregnancies are horrific as it is to me so that's part of why this book peaked my interest
