600 pages in and Caro really is as good as they say. He started the LBJ biography in 1982 and is still working on the final volume at 90. I truly hope he finishes it. I can't imagine researching one man for 45 yrs, yet LBJ justifies it.

Johnson might be the most driven man in history. He seems to have no political motives, only an unparalleled lust for power. The lengths he goes to are unfathomable. Much to learn.
