I actually hate this writing it’s horrid

How does the name amethyst translate to Amy? I actually hate that so much.

I’ve read books with main characters who have had some sort of mental illness before like bipolar disorder but this is by far the creepiest way it has been written and the way it is written is making the character kind of unlikable and it’s not because of her illness, it’s just cause the lack of addressing any of her history
