Plus i feel like the characters are being watered down. since nothing is really happening with them, there being pushed to the side and all the growth and excitement from the other books is just lost. Tho renna had very little character growth thru the entire series. She seems to lack direction and drive. Only really going were everyone thinks she should go.

After all that, the book did have a solid ending but it still felt very rushed and a little all over the place. Trying to decide between a continuation of leith and renna or a standalone for martyn. Either way, I am sad to leave this universe. It has been a journey even tho I started reading the series on Sunday. So good and amazing. Def as good as heather frost series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Also it would have been better just to give us like an epilogue or something bc my attention is waning but the book is like 400 plus pages. We are over half way through and all that has happened is martyn was falling in love. Should have just given him a side story rather than a whole freaking book pretty much

This book is definitely gonna be a four star read. The third book wrapped so much up that it feels like we are digging up unnecessary stuff for what? I think the third book should have been longer including them heading home but there’s so much being dragged out for the sake of Martyn really. No other character is benefiting as much as he is.
