It’s amazing how Lily and Bel instantly clicked together, although that could come down to sharing the same dirty sense of humour. I am so glad that Lily was able to carve a place for herself in Bel’s trivia group, and I adore her threatening Asmodous with a chicken wing. However, the highlight has to be Lily and Bel conspiring at an among us rip off game against Greg in order to force him to apologise with pie.

Sharkie living with Lily and making her room a safe place that you can only enter with permission was so wholesome,I’m glad she finally has that freedom and security.I loved seeing Sharkie explore the afterlife, train with the people of Valhalla, and join a school in hell.Lily worrying about bel and the secrecy behind fighting off what seems to be a different part of the universe, excited to see what happens there.

I adore how compassionately Lily handled Sharkie.
This poor girl has had an awful time in the mortal world, with horribly abusive foster parents and a sexual predator of a pastor. So to have Lily be immediately protective of Sharkie and offer her the most sacred of pinkie promises was heartwarming.
I can already tell that Lily has adopted this girl in her mind. I am also intrigued by Bel's secrecy surrounding Hell.

Lily creating a help desk to combat the more argumentative souls was excellent, it’s lovely seeing how much the demons appreciate her efforts. It was also fascinating reading how Lily gets an insight into the persons life, and how she deals (often violently) with people who brought harm to others. So glad she was able to make online friends, Bel is a treat. I can’t wait for her to meet her nerd husband for real.

I am absolutely enthralled by the concept of this novel, and I find the idea of the afterlife to be a mysterious adventure. The rules and layout of this new environment Lily finds herself in is fascinating, and I can’t wait to see more of it. I am adoring Lily’s fierce, fiery, and rebellious nature however, I am also heartbroken at her coming to terms with her mortality. So glad she found her way to paradise.
