I’m not yet a tenth of the way through the book and I’m hanging on every word like Spanish moss clings to the oaks in Savannah. Her descriptions of the American South paints a lively picture of plantation life pre-Civil War. Miss Scarlett O’Hara is dynamic and headstrong during a time that women were expected to be subservient, quiet, and demure. (I see you miss anti-hero and proto-feminist) easy 5 stars so far
