The book speaks itself. A beautiful and heart-wrenching story of a 10-year-old girl fleeing from Vietnam in 1975.
I just love the way the story has 3 parts: Saigon (which I totally love), The Sea and Alabama. Each part uncovers her soon-to-be-gone childhood, her journey on the sea, and her new days in a totally new country.
