God this story goes on forever when will it END

Emily Wilson manages to make this ancient classic move at a fairly brisk pace. I can't say I care much for the actual story, but that's not really her fault. What passed as a story back in the day really barely tiptoes over the lowest possible bar in terms of plot and characters.
