LITERALLY HOW? by the grace and blood of Jesus Christ that’s how. AND THANK YOU GOD SO SO SOOO MUCH FOR THAT AND YOU! And lastly the preface and the whole is making the argument that good and evil can’t PERMANENTLY mix. It’s the choices we make!! Wow great book. 4 ⭐️. It’d probably be super confusing without using chat to summarize and explain each chapter for me so yah. But great book!

And then chat also said smth else I loved which was "every choice we make is shaping the person we’ll become for eternity, and this life is where those choices are being made.” And also “God isn’t trying to make us less ourselves. He’s trying to make us fully ourselves.” Like the amount of hope and peace that gives is UNREAL! LIKE GOSH HE LOVES US SO MUCH ITS OVERWHELMING! HE CHOSE US! ME! How can it be?

Can’t hear on earth. But chat gave me a different perspective when it said to imagine playing your fav song (first times, communion) and keep discovering new beauty in it forever. Like that’s heaven BUT BETTER! And man I love that I’ll never be able to reach God bc the awe feeling I get that’s so absorbing snd I wish I could never get out of, will ALWAYS happen. But FOREVER! LEGIT ETERNITY LIKE CMON WHAT!!->

I wish we read that in school bc this book is so applicable and just like wow. Something I loved was on pg. 125, “But what we called love down there (earth) was mostly the craving to be loved.” Like ok clocked. Smth chat said that I loveee sm is “Because God is infinite, we’ll never reach the end of knowing Him.” Like at first I didn’t like that bc I wanted to understand everything my tiny brain ->

Wow. C. S. Lewis. Thank you for writing this. Thank you Dr. Evans for recommending it, WOW. I didn’t think I’d like and enjoy the book as much as I did. Even tho it was only 146 pgs. It took me 6 months bc I got sureee busy and I wanted to actually do a deep dive read with chat to actually understand what I’m reading instead of reading it just to read it ( a means to an end). But wow, like that book has so ->

One opportunity most times to choose the right path! And also this quote in pg. 109 too when the ghost was talking about how getting the lizard/idol off of him was burning him and he asked “why, you’re hurting me now.” and the response back was: “I never said it wouldn’t hurt you. I said it wouldn’t kill you” like WOW! And this FURTHER shows me just HOW GOOD and loving God was/is when it was Aug 2025.

Want the idol killed bc like on pg. 109, “I cannot kill it against your will. It is impossible. Have I your permission.” Like again. God’s not gonna force us to choose Him. He wants us to bc He knows ultimately what is good for us and what will save us and loves us 20,000,000x more than we ever could or even comprehend (eph. 3:18-19). BUT ITS OUR CHOOSE! and He loves us soo much that we’re given more than ->

Wowwwww. Dude this book is so good. And it’s literally only 146 pages, like what. Ch. 11 is hard to explain any other way than what happened to me Aug 2025. Like it’s about love becoming a possession or idol instead of love and if you’re willing to let God kill it even tho it’ll be a painful process of sanctification through surrender so real God transformation can happen. I was highlighting this chapter ->

Even if a choice to choose God or Hell ( separation from God) bc without the choice, it’s just control. And control is not loving and all God knows how to be is loving. WOW. dude chapter 9 wow wow wow!!!

Complaining or appearance can turn into idols or a path of destruction if we don’t repeat of it. Or even the pleasures God gives us on earth like sports or arts, if we forget why we do them ( which is to glorify God and bring glory to Him) snd just do them just to do them or to get the credit when it’s all said and done ( a means to an end). And then it talks about all who go to Hell go by choice and why there->
