Tupac and Biggie are both dead. Their influence on rap is going to have a lasting effect. After Biggie died, he released "Life after Death." It was his last album and it went on to sell over 10 million copies. Almost all rappers today admire and try to copy Tupac or Biggie in some type of way.

The book is still talking about the Tupac and Biggie's rise to fame. Biggie was not was always the gangster that he portrayed in all of his music. He was a very smart child who was the perfect student. He was a genius. He was very good at writing, which is a large reason for why he is so good at rapping.

The book is talking about Tupac and Biggie's life as teenagers and young adults. Tupac grew up poor and moving around. He was forced to get into the street life. Biggie grew up with a good life and was a very smart kid with a promising future. He decided to get into the street life because he thought that type of life was better than the one he was living.
