ok im not yet a third through but im wondering if this weird place is like limbo or something similar? this is neat i cant wait to see where the author takes us! soo many weird things going on and no more inappropriate children's activity

hmm every time i think this book starts dragging, some weird ass thing comes out of pocket and then it gets interesting again! this is nice because we gwt character development breaks in the action and world building sooo awesome!

ok this is super unsettling, weird and creepy it really reminds me of that vivarium movie and that weird toys movie from the 90s with robin williams and joan cusack, maybe? the visuals we get are spot on for both something seriously odd and unsettling is happening. i like this book! its on track for 5 stars for weirdness alone!

yessss!!! the creepiness continues but we gwt some elderly gays dancing to abba! chef's kiss absolute literature!

ok i can see where the stephen king comparisons come from there was just a scene with 2 children pretending to be dogs and yeah, they do dog stuff! its not triggery just creepy and uncomfortable but thankfully only ten pages or so! hopefully no more of this!

oooops! im still at 5% but i forgot to mention one of the characters is a dog and its owner us kind of abusive to it! nothing triggery this far very light physical abuse, mention of eating it but thats it so far hopefully it gets no worse the author is supposedly sweden's stephen king so i wouldnt throw anything out at this point maybe a magic ritual incolving zoophilia? i hope not but who knows?!
