A unicorn has being killed, and it appears John Mandeville may be the centrepiece to a Bonfire; and Prester John may be set upon killing Salah ad-Din, a stranger who was kind to him and to his fellow Pentexore people — all in order to be accepted back into his world as a Christian king and make up for missing the conquering of Jerusalem. We’re getting close to the climax.
