Author interview in School Library Journal read like she understood the original Wuthering Heights and didn't understand it. At least she understood some of the most important core themes of that work. Though how she is holding a "problematic work to account for problematic themes" by properly showing how messed up generational trauma and abuse are when that was ths point of Wuthering Heights is beyond me.
