Ooorrrr If Sam, Monica, and possibly Shelly are all connected, one possibility is that they’re trying to make Abby look unstable so she ends up in jail, allowing them to take the baby while benefiting financially. I have no evidence for this yet—it’s purely a theory based on a few details that don’t quite sit right with me.

I also find it odd that Shelly mentions having kids, yet Abby never shares any real details about her family. My current theory is that Shelly and Monica are working together—Monica creates the chaos while Shelly stays close as the trusted friend and ultimately ends up with the baby. I have no evidence yet, just observations and a gut feeling, but I’m definitely not ruling her out.

Monica is still my #1 suspect, but Shelly has quietly climbed my list. She’s Abby’s best friend and the main person feeding her information about Monica, meaning Abby’s perception is shaped by someone she completely trusts.
