Thoroughly enjoying Le Guin's writing, to the point that I'm risking a backwards-facing-train-between-Edinburgh-and-London-having-eaten-heavy-meal read (minimal nausea so far). Character descriptions are efficient and at points relatable, or at least provoke self-reflection. This is Victoria's book which she encouraged me to read; she was right to.
