The book's setting was a cross section which I appreciated.Set in London, key characters have connections in Darwin, NT. Somewhat nuanced characters which I felt I could understand and relate to.

It gently touches on themes that are broadly universal, like love for family and how it shapes those we choose to love. I love Coralie's journey in matrescence and her resolute sense of identity.
