It was a mistake to try listening to this as an audiobook. The narrator has for some reason made the choice to amp up her accent to peak 1970s Australian and it sounds like Puberty Blues. I won't be able to finish this and not sure I can even revert to reading the physical book because the voice is burned into my brain.
