- He wins battles by making no mistakes. No mistakes made = certain victory. Willing to do whatever it takes. Conquering an enemy that has already been defeated.

- A good general makes calculations of every scenario
- Use bait
- Men’s weapons will grow dull (maybe have a scene where they sharpen them or mention this.)
- Preparation of mantlets, moveable shelters, etc. will take 3 months to breach a walled city.
