Basically, the main girl mentions seeing a mark on her neck for the first time. She calls it a "random tattoo on my body that I had no memory of ever receiving" which is a strange way to describe a regular birthmark. So I'm hoping that perhaps she may have the same lion shaped mark that Cyrene has in The Huntress. This book is set in the modern day (with some supernatural elements) though, and it doesn't have any other connections to The Huntress yet so it's a pretty far out theory. 😅

Are the supernatural elements kind of the same as the Huntress with them being given skills from God?

Well, the main girl can visit people in their dreams but she doesn't know how she can do that; she was just born that way. There have been mentions of God and the fmc isn't sure if God is real but she believes that there's "something more." I'm guessing that she'll become a Christian later in the series and then will learn that her gift is from God, but that's just a guess. 🤷‍♀️
