Very interesting, still learning a lot of the history leading up to the book. Will likely need to do even more research within the book to understand what may be happening at the time of what is being written. He connects the book to a lot of Christian values in interesting ways, and connects it to the book The Imitation of Christ, which I haven’t read but now would like to, it’s on my list now.

This is dense. 6 pages in and I can see why people have trouble reading it. Some stuff I need to look up because I forgot about it, others are brand new concepts to me from the past that I need to do some research on. I have enjoyed it so far. It’s cool to learn all of this stuff about that time period. Also he mistreated the Cristian’s. Believing in the calumny written of them with no fair hearings.
