I just finished the five part miniseries "Crew" by John Byrne. It was a good read for my chronological trek through TOS.

The four-part series "Crew" by John Byrne is great. I knew I liked John Byrne - I'd read him on X-Men, Superman, and elsewhere in super-comics. But I had no idea he was such a great Star Trek author. In fact, I think he's a better Star Trek writer than superhero writer.
