Status Update

Ari is 43% done

- Nahri's getting better, but I still miss her character from the first chapter of the first book
- Ali is fantastic
- Dahra is ... Annoying as ever
- Ali's family??? So good.
- I'm very much not fond of this book's audiobook narrator (she doesn't help enforce Nahri's strength), I think I need to read this book, not listen to it.

Tbh the only characters I dislike are Dara and Nahri (and my dislike of them is fading). I adore/hate everyone else with wonderful enthusiasm.

Ari is 64% done

Nahri developed a backbone! Thank goodness. Far more in line with her character. Her initial character. But goddamn if she's dumb sometimes. Good read of people huh? HAH that's funny.
Ali is still the most interesting POV and I'm following this for him.
