The fact that there are zero consequences for the actions of Andrew and everyone acts as if nothing happened completely ruins the credibility. They literally drug Neil and the next day the author is just like "ok now I’m going to use this as a tool to tell his whole story." and the drugging will probably never be brought up again. When the reaction to such a severe action is this, the reader just doesn't buy it.

I honestly didn't like that Neil's unquestioning willingness to follow Andrew and Kevin anywhere was the author's only way to move the plot forward.
