I am loving this book. It feels a bit like a Harry Potter experience, with magic and a world completely unlike ours. I’m enjoying the bridal tournament more than I expected too, with the descriptions of all the competing brides fashion. This is my second book by the author and so far I love her writing style!

Delightful, pure, magical realism reminiscent of Harry Potter. The house is full of magic, some of the people are part animal, there are truth telling swans and a snake father who traps his family with live. So fascinating and fun!
