Ending is a little jumbled. I couldn’t figure out what happened to David… I did like the subway stuff that was very interesting. Also unsure in the end whether David is Albert’s son or not…. Love Berthe and the mother. Leo is a tiny demon ! Other than Leo, I just felt bad for everyone. Even the Rabbe who seemed well meaning.
