Chapter 24/27 of the audiobook and I can not understand the FMC's behavior. We just got the big emotional damage of this book and she's devastated but she could possibly change her situation if she'd TELL HIM THE TRUTH. At least then she'd know one way or another, but this back and forth, acting stubborn and hurt but giving him nothing is exhausting.
