I like to think of myself as somewhat of a history buff, but clearly I'm lacking in certain areas. In just these less than 20 pages alone (hell, on one page even), I learned about two conflicts I'd never heard about: the Stono Rebellion, and the War of Jenkins' Ear, which, yes, was started over an ear. Some things are so crazy you just couldn't make them up if you tried.
