I think everything I wanted to know about was in the last 100 pgs bc it’s ramping up pretty well.

Oof, not for the novice in Roman History. I thought I had a decent handle, but Holland gets into the nuances of Roman rule. The more you read the more you realize the world has stayed the same in terms of politics and jealousy and envy, and old men running everything..

I can hear the details in Holland’s voice from his many TRIH podcasts and it’s soothing. I feel like in just stepping jn now.
