Jesus Christ! The first 20 pages of this book have been nothing but the FMC 's inner monologue moaning about her obviously corrupt cousin and how her intellect is more important than her hair, yet she seems too stupid to see her cousin is cooking the books and she's not going to just skip away. Just get on with the story already!

Okay, how is the MMC MORE insufferable than she is? Alpha or not, the fact he legitimately thinks this woman, who is obviously not wearing anything fashionable, spent all their money makes him a complete moron and therefore it's very hard to like him. This is the worst plot ever....
