Really enjoying this so far! Would make a great companion read with Jeffrey Eugenides' Middlesex. The only minor annoyance is that for as lovely as it is to have an author who clearly knows the city of Detroit well and using local language, it's frustrating to have an audiobook narrator who is mispronouncing certain place names or local foods, etc.!
