A book that’s so beautifully written it captivated me despite little happening. The main character is written so believably it was difficult not to get caught in his feelings. His family made me smile and the story about his school sweetheart was unexpected and unusual. I’d forgotten how much I love Anne Tyler’s writing and will return to her.
