The ending saved it, completely! I'm still not as impressed as other people were. It had parts where it felt dragged and for some reason I wasn't the biggest fan of the newspaper clippings. It feels like that's just me? I really enjoyed it but absolutely not a favorite.

I like it, I really do, don’t get me wrong … it’s just missing the spark I was looking for. Hoping it will unfold into something more exciting.

Ok, I take back what I said. It’s amazing.

Why is it so hard for me to get into this book and why do I find it … a little cringe? Maybe reading The Secret History BEFORE this was not the best decision but 🥴 we’ll see, I’m not giving up on it - yet. It’s just totally different to what I thought it was going to be like.
