The Plymouth Express - 4/5 stars
The Adventure of the Western Star - 2/5 stars, the problem with Agatha Christie is you'll just be reading along a lovely little mystery and out of nowhere a character will throw out a racial slur, have some antisemitic musings, or some other awful white supremacist imperialist take. I love Agatha Christie books, but I think we need to have a frank conversation about this.

The Plymouth Express - 3.5/5 stars

The King of Clubs - 3/5 stars, the outcome here always confused me a bit with Poirot. He let's the killer off here without any sense of struggle and yet with The Murder on the Orient Express he struggles with his decision. While this was more self defense, or accidental murder, and the other was cold blooded murder it does feel a bit contradictory.

The Jewel Robbery at the Grand Metropolitan Hotel - 3/5 stars, thinking I the Poirot is better in long form content. So far the short stories are a bit of a let down.

The Affair of the Victory Ball - 3/5 stars, a bit boring
