One Day Until The Siege. Aicha & Rachid got married. my heart hurts watching the two spend the last days before The Siege itself, finally being able to marry each other with the thought that it would be the last time the two can truly experience happiness. it broke me that this might be the last time they’re gonna be alive.. Fouad & Samira not being present for the marriage hurts me.. theyre really gone💔

Three Days Until The Siege… what the fuck man 💔 Fouad (Baba) & Samira died…

Four Days Until The Siege—now we know why the jinn resides in Aicha’s body. she was born sickly & as Fouad was finding any way to help bring her back to life, he came to Ilham in desperation to help save her from dying. so Ilham did & in doing so, it basically invited the jinn to reside within her body, hence why the glowing iris she possess. Naima apparently read into her future & she said death awaits her..

Five Days Until The Siege—Aicha made her first kill, FINALLY. our girl sure as hell did not hesitate cause whatever dark jinn possessed her to take those guards out for threatening Samira? whew.. you’d think she was Mileena from Mortal Kombat or some shit. i just LOVE when women >>> also, Ilham wants her girls & Naima to escape before the siege & Aicha is gonna help them. i’m so scared something bad happens..

to have someone like Rachid & Samira in the vicinity of your life has got to be the biggest blessing a person could ever receive. Rachid, despite worrying for Aicha in joining this smuggling adventure, has always believed & treasure the ground she walks on. Samira who is a great sister that gave her the assurance only an elder sibling can give shows how deep their bond is. i hope Aisha succeeds this 1st mission!

Seven days until the siege—the rebels are planning to raid for gunpowder at the cistern. Aicha talked to her friend Naima & she told her that the cistern is holding up gunpowders to which, is actually quite useful for the siege & it’s been settled that Rachid & Samira is in charge of smuggling it. Aicha was hell-bent on being apart of the plan & getting to action, which i can taste is coming very soon

Aicha clearly has something residing within her. maybe it’s a secret from her mother’s side we’ll eventually find but i believe her mom is part of those lineage who has magic within them. she has this dark entity that consumes all of her uncontrollable rage which i found fascinating (has been appearing in her dreams). she also made a vow to make her first kill while training with Fouad (Baba) & Samira! 👀

8 days before the siege—Aicha is a badass. from the moment i flipped the page open, sis is terrorizing those colonizers even when she’s simply guarding her Baba’s store & there’s so much RAGE that u can practically feel her thirst to end everyone. Aicha, her Baba, Samira, and Rachid is part of the rebels & they follow the Sultan who is planning on a siege. Aicha & Rachid’s INSTANT chemistry?! wow.
