I’m wondering how this is the same series, same editor, because this one feels so immature and amateurish. Every eye-rolling romance trope is on display, it’s lost its charm. The klutzy female falls through a window unscathed, heels intact but can’t climb back out, and decides instead to jump off a roof. The screaming, the emo, the dropping of glasses in surprise. Formulaic to a fault.
