Maomao def cares abbot him and for someone being put in this situation she def can rationalize it. She knows where hes coming from and his thoughts but she makes decent points abt him and he needs to know that she doesn't see herself like he does

Chue is a manic pixie (dream girl is debatable) and I love her mad hatter vibe. Her banter with Likhaku is golden too. They both are such easy characters in their interactions with Maomao so its def so of course they get along. Both of them are hard to make angry I suppose

Trying to make maomao a doctor aside (like damn Jinshi had to meddle bc the physicians ar stubborn af) I love how suiren prepares salty crackers especially for maomao. Jinshi doesn't really care for them🥰
