There was something about this book that was decidedly...boring. Something missing that made it a five star like The Maze Runner and Quarter Labyrinth. Still a great book though.

I'm going to find it. Even if it kills me. Which, given what Ive learned today, seems increasingly likely.

This is a cool sin on that overused rase! Also, this not being able to type thing is VERY annoying.

There is a silence then, vast and cruel. The Glassworker collapses into a chair, cradling his sons head like he can still warm it with love, making a sound I'll never forget. A raw animal keening that seems to come from outside the body.

I love that this book has the friends to enemies to lovers I suspect trope instead of the overused love triangle between the cinnamon bun boy and the bad guy newbie. Also, it's on par with the Maze Runner.
