These characters have my whole heart. Nicole just such a great job of writing realistic flaws into characters. The growth, the bonding, the actual communication between partners 👏👏👏👏👏. I suspected I might enjoy this series as I loved her other book, but I’m having such a blast. Probably 4.5⭐️

I still can’t claim to fully be following the plot (although I think that’s a pregnancy brain issue and not a book issue) but I literally cannot put this book down. 3:53pm, Friday. Very much inside working hours. 😇
