P 74: does he believe art has to be shared for the artists’ work and the act of expressing themselves with it to make an artist feel whole? Making art is not enough but it has to be shared? Can’t art be self expression for one’s own sake, a coping mechanism, or therapy rather than a form of self expression for the benefit of others, like clothing or manners?
