I’m a doctoral student too and I can honestly say this book was written by someone with a PhD and a hyper fixation… nothing is actually happening!!! What happened to the plot?! There is no plot I’m suspecting

This writer writes very beautifully but my god this is boring. How am I over 100 pages in and literally nothing plot focused is happening? What is this book even about? Is it about how much Ann loves this museum or is there an actual plot?
