It’s so much more complex than just a romance. Probably one of the best depiction of anxiety/depression, self doubt, imposter syndrome, etc I’ve seen. So many low points in the book but the author somehow incorporates humor allowing readers to keep pushing forward. I was very absorbed in the world as I was reading.
