Re-started it yesterday. I read the sample on June 1 and it got me! Had to get the physical book, wait half a month for it to arrive and by then June reading was not going well, so I saved it for July. Perfect because I'm getting the sequel in August.
Linguistics and dragons? Yes! High hopes that this'll be my kind of dragon book.
