The plane scene absolutely broke me the fear Ilya and Shane both shared at the thought of losing on another was so deep and devastating. SHANE PROPOSED. I sobbed like I knew I would. I love that Shane recognizes what Ilya has given up for him and he knows that he was kind of blindsided by how good things were for a moment. It’s real and raw, and so much better than some thrown together bs.
