A beautifully small scale slice-of-life discussing parental neglect and found family with underlying themes of grief and loss. it reminds me of the times I've felt at home in the strangest of places, because the people were kind and tender enough to 'adopt' me. Keegan's writing is so simple yet so impactful - same as small things like these. Makes me want to be a better person.
