I adore how Maud loves her brother and brother in law, also love her and Violet so far, whether they end up together, as friends or part ways completely, Violet helps her discover things about herself (not only as a gay awakening). It's been a while since I read the Marvellous Light so I don't really remember what Hawthorn was like there, but I absolutely enjoy him despite him being, frankly, an asshole

I love Maud so far, and the boat setting (i need to think of better phrasing) is promising, I've read mixed opinions but i have high hopes for this book
