i’ve never understood this side plot where fern‘s mom is really disturbed by the fact that fern, for all she knows, has an imagination and what do you mean “it didn’t seem natural for a little girl to be so interested in animals”… y’all live on a farm! of course she’s interested in animals. It would be weird if she was interested in anything else.

they cut this out of the live action and i’m glad!

charlotte’s web 2006 is my favorite movie of all time. i’ve since watched the original cartoon for the first time and now am reading the book. a little out of order but i thought i better read this as it’s my favorite story.

this edition came with a copy of the dvd i had bought, so i don’t have the full color original cover but i might get it in the future
