so many deus ex machinas within the last 100 pages I'm crying

Fellas is it worse to dissect body parts from dead donor bodies or to bleed out multiple animals and watch them die? Maybe this is critiquing animal studies or maybe this is just violence without actually furthering the plot.

I don't know if chronic illness justifies ghosting and ignoring your best friend but I guess both of them are so traumatized that they will be self desctructive no matter what.

Also every character is pmo I hate it here

I'm confused on how Alice can be this dense and paranoid about Peter when she's literally the smartest person at Cambridge...babe he wants you why would you think he wants to kill you...
maybe she lost some braincells from her magic tattoo idk

like I know where the plot is going but it's like a car crash I can't look away
