This has definitely picked up! 😱 I’m in a part of the book where the author the psychological manipulation the Nazis used on their countrymen to get them to do what they wanted. It’s brilliantly written… and positively disturbing. It’s an angle of WWII I have not often encountered

The first chapter captures the feeling of having dementia, as I would imagine it, fantastically. Since then…up to now…things have been moving painfully slow. The story is starting to pick up momentum now… just hoping it keeps it up!

Ugh. Typo in original update and can’t figure out how to edit it. I meant to say I am at a part of the book where the author IS DEMONSTRATING the psychological fear and manipulation used by the Nazis.
