There we go! Halfway through in just a day! I’ll be finishing up the other half tomorrow. Honestly- it’s kind of horrific to see a lot of the terrible ways teachers and headmasters treated kids back in these days. I can see where Dahl got a lot of his idea’s for fighting back against people like that!

Going to read one more chapter tonight and leave the rest for tomorrow :3

Definitely going to get halfway through this book today and the other half tomorrow :3 as always- I’m adoring this book!

Aw- the end of that chapter was oddly kind of beautiful. Seems Dahl did have a really good mother at the end of the day. But damn- that chapter was harsh.

As always- Roald Dahl’s sense of childhood and imagery is brilliant! I’m already imagining this as a film as I’m reading! I love that this doesn’t shy away from him and his friends being little bastard as well! It’s realistic and hilarious!
